SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The San Francisco 49ers will welcome defensive end Nick Bosa (calf) and running back Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) back from injury on Sunday while receiver Mike Evans will miss his second consecutive game because of Achilles tendinitis.

Bosa, who has been out since before a Week 3 game against Arizona Cardinals, returned to practice this week and participated in some capacity for all three sessions this week. He has no injury designation for Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders and is good to go.

"I feel great," Bosa said. "Bye week was a good extra week for me and I'm ready to go."

Likewise, McCaffrey also does not have an injury designation after suffering a minor hamstring strain in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons. McCaffrey did not practice on Wednesday, but participated on Thursday and Friday on his way to being cleared.

Much like Bosa, McCaffrey said the Week 8 bye helped his recovery so he would not miss any time.

"It wasn't too bad," McCaffrey said. "I think having the bye week was awesome, but I feel great."

Evans, meanwhile, continues to deal with Achilles tendinitis that flared up in a Week 6 win against the Washington Commanders. He did not play against the Falcons and then had the bye week to continue recovering.

Although Evans has made "a lot of progress," according to coach Kyle Shanahan, the Niners don't want to risk pushing him too hard too soon so his injury doesn't get worse.

"I think you learn from the history," general manager John Lynch told KNBR radio in San Francisco on Thursday. "Christian had this situation and every player is different, every situation is different but you don't want it to become something that really lingers. So, we're trying to knock it out such that when he comes back, we give him the best chance to stay back."

In addition to Evans, the Niners ruled out fellow wideouts Deebo Samuel Sr. (hamstring) and Christian Kirk (knee) for Sunday. Kirk injured his meniscus in practice on Wednesday. It's unclear whether Kirk will need surgery, Shanahan said.

In better receiver news, Shanahan said it's likely the team will activate Demarcus Robinson (ankle) from injured reserve to play against the Raiders. That would leave a group of Robinson, Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowing, Brandin Cooks and, likely, KhaDarel Hodge being elevated from the practice squad, as the team's receivers for Sunday.

The 49ers listed Robinson, cornerback Nate Hobbs (adductor), safety Siran Neal (knee, foot) and cornerback Upton Stout (shoulder) as questionable for Sunday. Shanahan said it remains up in the air on whether they'll activate Hobbs from injured reserve this week.
