INDIANAPOLIS -- The Baltimore Ravens lost No. 1 receiver Zay Flowers and No. 3 Ja'Kobi Lane to injuries in Sunday's season-opening 41-23 win over the Colts.
Flowers left with a hamstring injury and was ruled out early in the fourth quarter. Before the injury, he was on his way to a career day, catching five passes for 150 yards and a touchdown.
Lane, a promising rookie, left with a wrist injury in the first half. He had one catch for 11 yards in his NFL debut before exiting.
Coach Jesse Minter didn't have an update on either player after the win.
With Flowers and Lane out, the Ravens' only healthy active wide receivers were: Rashod Bateman, LaJohntay Wester, who is primarily a punt returner, and Chris Moore, who was elevated from the practice squad. Baltimore had two wide receivers who were inactive Sunday: rookie fourth-round pick Elijah Sarratt and Devontez Walker, who has been dealing with a groin injury.
It's unknown when Lane injured his wrist in the first half. Flowers aggravated a left hamstring injury with about 5½ minutes left in the first half, grabbing the hamstring after he was tackled by Sauce Gardner following a 12-yard catch.
Flowers had recently missed two weeks with a hamstring injury before returning to practice last week. He was a full participant in Friday's practice and didn't receive an injury designation for the Week 1 game.
A month ago, Flowers signed a four-year, $140 million contract extension with Baltimore.
