Tottenham have omitted striker Emmanuel Adebyor from both their 25-man Premier League squad and their Europa League list.
Spurs published their squad lists for the league until Jan. 1 and the Europa tournament on their official website, and the out-of-favour Togo international has been excluded.
Former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Adebayor is now in limbo at the club, having been consistently linked with a move away throughout the summer.
West Ham had been keen to bring him to Upton Park before the transfer window closed on Tuesday.
With only two days of the transfer period remaining, the Hammers had been optimistic they could do a deal for the 31-year-old, who they also moved for in the January window.
Adebayor has been deemed surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane by coach Mauricio Pochettino.
He came close to joining Aston Villa earlier in the summer, but the deal fell through over his reluctance to move from London.
