Welcome to the first weekend of October, when the games get a little more meaningful and the trolls follow suit. Week 4 of the NFL season was further proof of that.
The Atlanta Falcons dominated the New Orleans Saints 45-24 on "Monday Night Football," thanks to a standout performance from their backfield.
Atlanta put up a whopping 420 yards, led by 145 rushing yards by Bijan Robinson, who also added two scores. His fellow running back Brian Robinson Jr. put up three touchdowns. The Falcons' five rushing touchdowns tied a franchise record. They are the sixth pair of teammates who each had multiple rushing touchdowns in a "Monday Night Football" game. The Falcons' lone passing touchdown occurred when quarterback Michael Penix Jr. connected with wide receiver Jahan Dotson for a 31-yard score.
With the Falcons-Saints rivalry being one of the fiercest in the league, it only made sense that Atlanta poked fun after the victory -- multiple times. The Falcons captioned their post: "Marched in," a nod to the Saints' anthem, "When the Saints Go Marching In."
The Falcons then resurfaced a video in which a Saints fan motioned a choking sign at Falcons players as they entered halftime with a lead, indicating that Atlanta would eventually lose. The original video had the caption: "This Saints fan potentially could have an all-time clip for the second half," to which the Falcons quipped postgame with: "He did not."

Here are the other top trolls from Week 4.

Dallas Cowboys 34, Houston Texans 30
The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Houston Texans on the road. Facing a four-point deficit with 2:23 left, Dallas went on an 11-play, 74-yard drive that concluded with a 12-yard touchdown catch by wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.
It put the Cowboys up for good and capped a stellar performance from Lamb. He had a whopping 17 catches -- second most in franchise history -- for 189 yards. It's the most receptions by any player since Keenan Allen had 18 in Week 3 of the 2023 season, according to ESPN Research.
Dallas had clever jabs lined up for the in-state matchup. The Cowboys referenced country star Ella Langley's hit track, "Choosin' Texas," in a social media post, adding "Dallas" ahead of "Texas."
Then, Dallas put a spin on the opening sequence from the sitcom "King of the Hill," which is set in Texas. The illustration featured Lamb, Dak Prescott, wide receiver George Pickens and safety Caleb Downs hanging out together with "Kings of the State" written above them.

Carolina Panthers 32, Detroit Lions 26
It required one final stop, but the Panthers survived for a "Sunday Night Football" win against the Lions.
Carolina held a six-point lead when Detroit regained possession with 2:06 left. Four plays later, the Lions turned it over on downs, clinching the Panthers' victory. Panthers quarterback Bryce Young threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns -- both to wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who had 14 catches for 192 yards. Their teammate, running back Chuba Hubbard, had 122 yards on the ground and two scores.
Carolina understood the assignment postgame when poking fun at Detroit. It shared an image of a Panther standing on a ledge and growling over a lion, writing in the caption: "The Lion's king."
Seattle Seahawks 30, Los Angeles Chargers 23
Seattle held on to beat Los Angeles in a bounce-back victory.
The Chargers had a chance to tie the score with 1:42 remaining, but the Seahawks sacked quarterback Justin Herbert to force a fumble, which they recovered to secure the win. Seattle forced four turnovers -- three came from Herbert and two led to touchdowns.
The Seahawks had multiple lightning- and charging-related trolls after the win.
Their first post was simple with the caption: "Lights Out," a reference to the nickname of Chargers legend Shawne Merriman. Seattle's victory comic included a robot out of charge. Seahawks defensive end Leonard Williams was labeled "The Lightning Thief," the title of a popular Rick Riordan novel. Then there was an image of a charging cord with tattered wires, captioned "0% battery," and another of a charging error with safety Nick Emmanwori sacking Herbert in the background.

Los Angeles Rams 24, Philadelphia Eagles 20
Los Angeles stormed back late to beat Philadelphia on the road.
The Rams outscored the Eagles 14-0 in the second half. The winning touchdown came on a 7-yard run by Kyren Williams with 1:10 left. The Eagles then had a turnover on downs, giving the Rams the ball and the win.
Even though the result was still up in the air, Los Angeles soft launched its troll with a post earlier in the day. The Rams shared an image of their players with "Rams in Philadelphia" written above them in a font evoking the hit comedy "Abbott Elementary," which is set in Philadelphia.
Just over five hours later, Los Angeles posted a test paper with scantron bubbles filled in to spell out "W."

San Francisco 49ers 24, Denver Broncos 14
The 49ers remain undefeated following a win against the Broncos.
San Francisco's defense shined, allowing just one touchdown and 296 total yards to Denver. The 49ers' offense played its part, too, specifically the offensive line -- the team has yet to give up a sack this season. The Niners are the first team to allow zero sacks through four games since the 2005 Indianapolis Colts, according to ESPN Research.
The Broncos' home stadium is Empower Field at Mile High, and even though the 49ers won at home, they highlighted the "mile high" component with a jab.

Jacksonville Jaguars 22, Cincinnati Bengals 17
Jacksonville's wire-to-wire win over Cincinnati prompted a simple, yet effective, troll.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence had 223 passing yards and one score, and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 428 yards, one touchdown plus two interceptions. Cincinnati put up a whopping 437 yards of offense but had only two touchdowns to show for it.
In a battle between Jaguars and Bengals, Jacksonville highlighted its win by writing "Jungle Cats" in its postgame caption.

Cleveland Browns 27, Pittsburgh Steelers 24
The Browns have won three straight games for the first time since 2023 after defeating the Steelers on "Thursday Night Football."
Pittsburgh tied the score with 1:42 remaining, but Cleveland responded by kicking a winning field goal with 10 ticks left. As a result, Deshaun Watson became the second Browns quarterback since 1970 to lead three straight winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime, according to ESPN Research.
At first glance, Cleveland's Minecraft-themed post after the win seemed something ordinary. But it was a reference to former Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin revealing his Minecraft world Wednesday. The Browns capitalized on the moment by building out an "L" in Minecraft blocks and writing: "Pittsburgh was defeated by the Dawg Pound."
