The UFC will crown a new women's flyweight champion Saturday, when 29-year-old Natalia Silva and Wang Cong, 34, square off in the main event of UFC 332 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City. Former champion Valentina Shevchenko vacated the belt because of an undisclosed injury in September.
Silva, ESPN's No. 2-ranked flyweight contender and No. 9 on ESPN's MMA 30 under 30 list, is undefeated inside the Octagon. She has won eight consecutive fights. Silva's most recent win was a unanimous decision over former two-time strawweight champion Rose Namajunas.
Wang enters on a four-fight winning streak, during which each victory has come by unanimous decision. Most recently, Wang beat Tracy Cortez at UFC 329 in July.
In the co-main event, rising men's bantamweight challenger Payton Talbott faces his biggest test yet against former two-time men's flyweight titleholder Deiveson Figueiredo.
Brett Okamoto, Jeff Wagenheim and Dre Waters break down all the action from UFC 332.
