Golf fans might get a rare glimpse of 15-time major champion Tiger Woods when TGL kicks off its third season Dec. 27.

The Jupiter Links Golf Club, which Woods captains, will play Los Angeles Golf Club in a rematch of last season's finals in the second match of an opening-day doubleheader Dec. 27 (1 p.m. ET, ABC).

Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka will make his TGL debut with expansion Motor City Golf Club, which will face Rory McIlroy's Boston Common Golf in the first match.

While Woods hasn't formally committed to playing, he is expected to compete in Jupiter Links GC's season-opening match barring another physical setback, sources told ESPN on Tuesday.

PGA Tour golfer Kevin Kisner, who played with Jupiter Links last season, told the "Fore Play" podcast last week that Woods is planning to play a full schedule in the indoor golf league this season.

Because of another back surgery, Woods played in only one match during the 2026 TGL season -- a 9-2 loss in the second match of the best-of-three finals that gave Los Angeles Golf Club the SoFi Cup.

That was the last time Woods played competitively. The 50-year-old was aiming to return for the 2026 Masters but was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a single-vehicle rollover crash March 27 on Jupiter Island, Florida.

Woods pleaded no contest Sept. 2 to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test. His driver's license was suspended for five years as part of a plea agreement.

Golf fans are also awaiting word on whether Woods will compete Dec. 3-6 in the Hero World Challenge, a tournament he hosts in the Bahamas. All but three spots in the 20-man field have been announced for the no-cut, 72-hole event.

Woods might also play with his son, Charlie, Dec. 17-20 in the PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida. Woods would be allowed to use a cart in the 36-hole, two-person scramble.

Woods hasn't competed on the PGA Tour since he missed the cut in the 2024 Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland.

The 2027 TGL schedule includes 14 regular-season matches and a new play-in match to determine the fourth team in the playoffs, which will be played March 1-23.

All of the matches will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

PGA Tour rookie sensation Jackson Koivun will also make his TGL debut with Motor City Golf Club on opening day. Jake Knapp, Si Woo Kim and Bud Cauley round out the team's roster.

The TGL teams will have five players this season, but each match will continue to feature only three players from each team.
