Tips for the week:

Fremantle vs. Hawthorn
Geelong vs. Carlton
Sydney vs. Brisbane
Adelaide vs. Western Bulldogs

Reasoning: The Dockers have been the form team of the year and should take care of the Hawks on their home deck. The Blues are riding one of the greatest waves of momentum I can recall and have an impressive recent record against the Cats. The Swans are in freefall and not even playing at the SCG will help them against the roaring Lions. The Crows are desperate for a win to avoid being labelled finals flops.

Tips for the week:

Fremantle vs. Hawthorn
Geelong vs. Carlton
Sydney vs. Brisbane
Adelaide vs. Western Bulldogs

Reasoning: The Dockers haven't lost at Optus Stadium and I don't expect that to change here. The Blues -- if it's dry -- will try and outpossess the Cats. They have no pressure on them so it's a free hit. The Lions aren''t the Kangaroos limping to the finish line, and the Crows simply HAVE to win this game.

Tips for the week:

Fremantle vs. Hawthorn
Geelong vs. Carlton
Sydney vs. Brisbane
Adelaide vs. Western Bulldogs

Reasoning: Backing the Dockers at home but in a tight one. Also siding with Geelong after a valuable week's rest despite Carlton's form, Brisbane who I think will have too much firepower against an understrength Swans, and Adelaide, who should be able to stretch that Bulldogs back six.

Tips for the week:

Fremantle vs. Hawthorn
Geelong vs. Carlton
Sydney vs. Brisbane
Adelaide vs. Western Bulldogs

Reasoning: The Dockers have been the best team all year. I'm also backing in the Cats if it's wet, as the weather will play a part on Friday night. I'm backing Sydney's structure to overcome personnel losses, and think the Bulldogs spent a lot of their tickets last week. Adelaide's forward line should be too potent.
