The Junior All Blacks got their tour of Australia off to a winning start with a 48-10 triumph over the Queensland Reds at Ballymore.
Auckland speester Joe Rokocoko shrugged off the disappointment of missing out on a place in the All Blacks squad to face the British & Irish Lions to notch a hat-trick of tries.
The All Blacks ran in a total of eight tries, with David Hill adding four conversions.
Wallabies Elton Flatley and Steve Kefu grabbed five-pointers for the hosts.
