Rugby League convert Lote Tuqiri has been named in the Australian team for the Brisbane leg of the international Sevens series.
Tuqiri, who will play with the NSW Waratahs in this year's Super 12 competition, was named alongside Wallaby regulars Chris Latham and Joe Roff in the strong squad.
His debut will mirror that of fellow ex-league players Mat Rogers and Wendell Sailor, who made their rugby union debuts in last year's Sevens competition after converting from rugby league at the end of 2001.
Latham is returning from an ankle injury while Roff spent last season playing in France.
Australia currently lies in third position on the Sevens ladder after the first two legs of the series.
The Brisbane leg will be played from February 1-2.
