Nineteen-year-old George Smith is ready for his Super 12 run-on debut for the Brumbies against the Queensland Reds in Canberra on Saturday night.
Smith has been on stand -by for injured skipper Brett Robinson whose torn chest muscle seems likely to keep out of the weekend action. Robinson has conceded that he is a doubtful starter.
'I would do anything to play against the Reds because for me this is one of the year's biggest games. But I am holding out a very slim chance of playing at this stage.'
