Toss Namibia chose to bowl vs South Africa
In a bid to qualify for the tri-series final, Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus won the toss and opted to bowl against South Africa.
The equation for Namibia is simple: win and qualify or lose and get knocked out. They will draw confidence from having beaten South Africa the last two times they met in T20Is. But Erasmus was practical. "It's a new day and we do have a good record against them but it's all about winning the tournament," he said.
Namibia made one change, with Malan Kruger coming in for Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton.
South Africa already have a foot in the final. Even if they lose today, they should be safe, thanks to their healthy net run rate. "We would have probably looked to bat anyway," their captain Bjorn Fortuin said.
South Africa made two changes: Duan Jansen and Prenelan Subrayen made way for Nqobani Mokoena and Andile Simelane.
The match is being played on the same surface where Namibia faced Zimbabwe yesterday.
