Well, that's all from our side. A rather slow-burn game, but enjoyable near the end as Ireland did their best to drag themselves back into the contest. For now, Afghanistan sleep easier knowing they'll be in the WC next year with a direct Q. From Abhijato, Shashank, Sudeep and Harshith, it's goodbye for now!
Time for the post-match presentation.
Rashid Khan is the Player of the Match. And ah, the mic is glitching out so we can't quite make out what he's saying. But he's quite stoic as he holds onto his gift hamper and speaks to the broadcasters. Can only imagine he's chuffed inside!
Paul Stirling speaks, with the mic swapped out: "The take from both games is that we're getting in positions where we're in the game. In the powerplay, we were far ahead in the game. Even 20, 30 runs more could have been enough today. Wickets are tough when you get put in. The heavy roller played a long part in the game."
Rahmat Shah, the Afghanistan captain: "It was a low-scoring match, always tough. Finally we won the match. Rashid bowled really well. Assessed the conditions well."
6.20pm Afghanistan have huffed and puffed in this low-scoring encounter, but with 207 runs to get, they were always the favourites in this chase. Rashid's calm head in the finishing stages has dragged Afghanistan to a 2-0 lead in this series (which is also unassailable) as well as direct qualification to the ODI World Cup in Africa next year. Ireland will know they almost had Afghanistan on the ropes here, but in the end, they just didn't have enough runs in the bank once Gurbaz knocked off the 71 runs at the top of the order with his patient knock.
Just two needed to win now.
