Another attempted flick across the hard line from round the wicket, Kamindu's bat skewed on impact for the ball to fly high into the floodlights, and plummet to Duckett at midwicket, who judged it well to make no mistake. Both openers gone in the powerplay 36/2

8.6 Attempts another wipe across the line, but it's a sucker-punch! Atkinson tucked him up with a shorter length, bit of movement back off the seam, Banton circles at midwicket to judge the top-edge, and pockets coolly over his shoulder. Three-down in the powerplay spells deep trouble for Sri Lanka 53/3

14.6 dabbed to short third, Archer pile-drives the stumps with his shy! A crazy run, but actually, Cox's gloves broke the bails before the ball had arrived. The power of the shy actually plucked the entire stump out of the ground, but Cox probably needed to have the ball in his glove and hold it to said stump for the wicket to count! There's also a chance that one of those bails was still in situ... and the original not-out has been overturned! Well, that is all deeply confusing. We'll need to go thumbing through the Laws to work out the exact train of thoughts from the umpires... but hard to dispute that the correct upshot has been reached! 77/4
