That's it from our side. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. The next game is on Friday and the final on Sunday. See you then.

Tilak Varma: We wanted to bowl first but the wicket didn't change much. The bowlers took the responsibility and came out well. Afghanistan's fast bowling was good, they were hitting good lengths but I wanted to follow the basics as we needed a good partnership. Many of our squad members are playing an A series for the first time, so it's a big learning for everyone.

Imran Mir, Afghanistan captain: When Faisal and Bahir were batting, we thought it was gettable. The next game is very important. We will try our best and come out with a positive intent.

Nishant Sindhu is the Player of the Match: It was hard to bowl on such a flat track. I just tried to bowl good line and length. In India too we play on similar pitches, so we are used to it.

For Afghanistan to qualify, they need to beat Sri Lanka by 121 or more runs. If they are chasing 250, they need to chase it down in 29 overs.

Pranav: "How can India qualify, because afghanistan still win against srilanka, so it'll be same points" --- India have the best NRR at the moment, so even if all three teams finish on four points each, India will be through.

5.32pm A commanding 101-run win by India even though Afghanistan looked threatening at times. Arya set the platform with a fifty, Tilak and Kushagra built on that, and Nigam, towards the end, ensured they crossed 300. Afghanistan had a quick start and Bahir and Shinozada kept them in the contest. But once they fell, Afghanistan collapsed, losing last six wickets for 45 runs.

For Afghanistan, their NRR has taken a hit and now the gulf between their NRR and Sri Lanka's is so massive they would need a miracle to make it to the final. I have asked our team for rough numbers...

Sindhu to Zahir Khan, OUT, that's it - India have qualified for the final. Sindhu gets his fourth as Kamboj takes the catch on the second attempt. Zahir looks to go big again but ends up skying it towards long-on. Kamboj running to his right fumbles it but then pouches the rebound with his left hand

Sindhu to Shams Ur Rahman, OUT, bowled 'im. Sindhu gets his third. But wait, there is some confusion. The umpire have referred it upstairs. Was a length ball around off. Shams tried to defend on the front foot but the ball beat his inside edge and hit the off stump. No doubt whatsoever on replay

Shams Ur Rahman b Sindhu 8 (13b 1x4 0x6) SR: 61.53
