Last week, things happened in college football that we haven't seen in 30 years. No pressure, Week 8.
There are only two ranked matchups -- Ole Miss faces Texas and Houston travels to Utah. However, two College Football Playoff contenders -- Indiana and BYU -- faced potentially challenging road trips.
Both games went to overtime. The contenders, however, came out with different results. The Hoosiers bounced back from a loss to Ohio State with a gritty 13-6 win over Michigan, but BYU couldn't survive a chaotic ending in a 39-31 defeat to UCF.
Sometimes the most unassuming weeks in the sport can be the wildest.
