Washington's Rashid Williams to start; Emmanuel Karnley out

Washington wide receiver Rashid Williams will start against Eastern Washington on Saturday while cornerback Emmanuel Karnley has been ruled out, coach Jedd Fisch said.

Williams, who has four catches for 96 yards and a touchdown this season, had been listed as "week to week" after suffering an oblique injury against Utah State last week.

His return is key for the Huskies with receiver Christian Moss expected to miss two to three months after suffering a lower body injury last week. Fisch said Chris Lawson will replace Moss in the X spot.

Lawson leads all Huskies receivers with 116 yards on seven catches this season.

Karnley, a senior transfer from Virginia who suffered an undisclosed injury against Utah State, is expected back against Minnesota next week, Fisch said.
