At Big Ten meetings, coaches push 24-team CFP

It's clear from early conversation at the Big Ten spring meetings that coaches remain adamant about moving to a 24-team College Football Playoff, an idea that began less than a year ago and has gained support across the ACC and Big 12.

The BIG Ten is going for their 4th consecutive National Championship with a handleful of legit contenders. McElroy goes through the entire conference and gives you the ONE question about each team heading into the summer. Can Josh Hoover really just replace Fernando Mendoza? Can two new coordinators maintain Oregon's offense and defensive dominance? Is Ohio State playing with a chip on their shoulder? Will Byrce Underwood make a sophomore step under a new coaching staff? Can Gary Patterson turn USC into a program that can win big games? Did Pat Fitzgerald walk into the best situation at Michigan State and are there any effects from the Demond Williams/NIL drama at Washington?

Bengals HC Zac Taylor

Peter reviews and reacts to the revelations from the new ESPN documentary "The Pick Is In", which had inside access to the Raiders, Cowboys, and Browns war rooms. He, then, highlights why he's so high on Dallas this off-season, and how a lot of it comes from the juice flowing from the hire of new defensive coordinator Christian Parker. Bengals coach Zac Taylor joins to discuss the Bengals 2026 off-season. Zac takes us behind the Dexter Lawrence trade that was "weeks" in the making, the importance of adding to the defense, the linebacker spot, the return of 11 offensive starters, and the showcasing of three assistant general managers who had previously always been behind the scenes. Peter and Zac talk the new look AFC North, why he doesn't mess with Joe Burrow's off-season whereabouts, and what he hopes to establish in his 8th season as the Bengals HC.
