Make it Mesut Ozil 1, Stoke police 1.
Ozil couldn't resist hitting back at the Stoke police department following Arsenal's 3-0 win over the Potters on Sunday, after the midfielder was trolled following the Gunners' 1-0 loss at the bet365 Stadium in August.
Back then, the official Stoke police Twitter account made fun of Ozil's display in Stoke's win by calling him a "missing person". That was in response to an Arsenal fan who tweeted the account to "report a robbery" after the visitors had one goal ruled out for offside and were denied a penalty.
So after Arsenal avenged that loss at the Emirates, Ozil was quick to get his own revenge on Twitter.
.@Policingstoke didn't help in the case of robbery last summer so we took matters into our own hands. 🕵🏼♂ Proud to announce we earned three hard fought points today for @TheIwobiEffect and all the other gunners 😉 #Banter pic.twitter.com/wVrFgPKeJh

And just like the Stoke police, Ozil added the hashtag "#Banter", making it clear that the previous slight hadn't gone unnoticed.
Now that's how you lay down the law.
