Pirelli has revealed the compound selections for the British Grand Prix, with the medium and soft tyres heavily favoured across the grid.
Only Force India has opted to take less than seven sets of the soft tyre and takes three hard sets for both drivers, more than any other team. Mercedes and Ferrari have differed in selections, with the world champions going for more of a spread between the medium and soft tyres than their Italian rivals.
The only team to opt for any difference in selection between its two drivers is Haas, with Romain Grosjean opting for two hards and four mediums to Esteban Gutierrez's one hard and five mediums. With tyres handed back after the initial practice sessions this will allow the American team to split run plans on Friday.
The tweaked tyre rules for 2016 continue to earn high praise in Formula One, with the additional compound opening up strategy choices on the pit wall for teams. The choices for the July 10 race can be seen in full below:
