Alex Lynn will get a day behind the wheel of the Williams FW38 at the post-Spanish Grand Prix in-season test.
Development driver Lynn, the 2014 GP3 champion, made his F1 debut for Williams at the same test at the Circuit de Catalunya a year ago. He will drive on Tuesday, with senior driver Felipe Massa returning to the cockpit on the second day.
Lynn is also set for his second year in GP2 with the DAMS team, a season also kicking off in Barcelona this weekend.
"A huge thank you to Williams for giving me this opportunity," the British driver said. "With the testing restrictions it's an important chance for me to show what I can do, but it is also important running for the team and I hope to help them to develop the FW38.
"My focus this week, as for the last few weeks, is on having a good first weekend of the GP2 season, but an opportunity like this is a great reminder of the ultimate goal."
Lynn claimed two wins in his first GP2 season for DAMS last year, finishing sixth in the championship.
