Williams is expecting three strong races at the next three rounds as it brings major updates to the FW37 ahead of the summer break.
Williams is currently third in the championship, 77 points off Ferrari in second and 29 points clear of Red Bull. After scoring double figures at the first five rounds, Williams failed to score in Monaco but will react immediately with a raft of updates at both the Canadian and Austrian Grands Prix.
"We've got some updates coming in Canada and they should be healthy from lots of different areas," head of vehicle performance Rob Smedley said. "We've got quite a big package coming in Austria. Without going into details, that is going to be a really healthy step, so we are really looking forward to getting that on the car. Then it's going to be a series of constant developments."
Smedley believes the team's 20-point haul at the Spanish Grand Prix is more representative of the overall performance of the car rather than the Monaco result.
"We showed in Spain, which was a much more normal track, that we can keep pace with the top teams. In Monaco it's a bit of an anomaly and we couldn't get the car or the tyres to work and I think therefore we were way out of position. Going into Canada we will get back to our normal position, plus we have upgrades there.
"Austria is a track that suits our car as we saw last year and with a bit of help from Mercedes we were able to lock out the front row. In Canada we were really quick but had some reliability problems and Felipe had an accident. And then in Great Britain, that was the part of the season when we really started to come into our own and started getting podiums and bagging lots of points throughout the season. The next three races I am really confident about."
