FC Porto v PSV

HALF-TIME: PORTO 0-0 PSV EINDHOVEN

PSV continue to push for the opener in the dying minutes of the first half, as Perisic instructs his team-mates to shoot. Til obliges, but to no avail and that should be the half!

KOSTIC DENIED BY THE WOODWORK! PSV come agonisingly close to taking the lead! The veteran left-back is rewarded for his persistence as his consistent pressure on Froholdt eventually yields possession. He races forward, one-on-one with Costa, but can only watch as his low shot clips the outside of the post!

INNOVATIVE FROM PORTO! The Dragons pull out a deceptive set-piece routine from the resulting free-kick, with Gabri Veiga bouncing the ball off Pepe before bending a low effort wide of the post. It didn't trouble Kovar but that's a clever move from the hosts!

Yellow Card

Geertruida is shown the first yellow card of the match for a highly unnecessary push on Gabri Veiga. Being pressured, the Dutchman shoves the Porto midfielder in the face and promptly gets his name in the referee's book.

Porto take a turn to send a shot flying into the stands now. Pietuszewski is played through, and not for the first time tonight, the Poland international fails to keep his shot on target, skewing an powerful effort high and wide.
