Cardinals confirm positive tests for player, staff

St. Louis team president John Mozeliak confirmed that the Cardinals have had one player and three staff members test positive for the coronavirus, while four more members of the organization have gotten inconclusive results.

The postponement of Friday's game allows the Cardinals enough time to do additional COVID-19 testing and conduct contact tracing prior to resuming play Saturday at Milwaukee, MLB said.
