NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- — Malik Dia had 17 points in Belmont's 67-60 victory against Illinois State on Wednesday night.
Dia also contributed six rebounds for the Bruins (11-5, 4-1 Missouri Valley Conference). Cade Tyson scored 16 points, shooting 4 for 7 (2 for 3 from 3-point range) and 6 of 6 from the free throw line. Jayce Willingham was 4 of 7 shooting, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 0 for 3 from the line to finish with nine points.
