Dubar's double-double helps Hofstra fend off Stony Brook 80-74
STONY BROOK, N.Y. -- — Darlinstone Dubar had 30 points and 11 rebounds to lead Hofstra to an 80-74 victory over Stony Brook on Monday night.
Jaquan Carlos scored 23 points for the Pride (10-9, 3-3 Coastal Athletic Association). He had four 3-pointers and six assists. Tyler Thomas scored 11.
The Seawolves (9-10, 2-4) were led in scoring by Dean Noll with 19. Andre Snoddy added 17 points and 11 rebounds. Chris Maidoh had 12 points and seven rebounds.
Carlos' 18-point second half helped Hofstra finish off the victory.
