Sherry scores 20, Elon beats N.C. A&T 77-59

ELON, N.C. -- — Sam Sherry had 20 points in Elon's 77-59 win against N.C. A&T on Saturday night.

Sherry added nine rebounds for the Phoenix (8-7, 1-1 Coastal Athletic Association). Rob Higgins added 17 points while shooting 6 for 12, including 3 for 7 from beyond the arc, and he also had five rebounds and eight assists. Nick Dorn was 5-of-9 shooting (5 for 8 from 3-point range) to finish with 15 points.

Landon Glasper led the Aggies (3-12, 1-1) in scoring, finishing with 21 points. Kyle Duke added eight points for N.C. A&T. Nikolaos Chitikoudis also recorded seven points and three blocks.
