WASHINGTON -- — Jamarii Thomas and Allen Betrand both scored 14 points to help Norfolk State defeat Howard 65-61 on Saturday night.
Thomas was 5 of 11 shooting, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 4 from the line for the Spartans (12-8, 2-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).
