NEW YORK -- — Eric Acker's 28 points helped LIU defeat Le Moyne 76-64 on Thursday night.

Acker had seven rebounds and five assists for the Sharks (7-19, 6-8 Northeast Conference). R.J. Greene added 12 points while going 5 of 11 and 2 of 6 from the free throw line, and they also had 11 rebounds. Jason Steele had 11 points and shot 4 of 6 from the field and 2 for 3 from the line.

The Dolphins (12-15, 7-6) were led in scoring by Luke Sutherland, who finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Darrick Jones Jr. added 12 points for Le Moyne. AJ Dancier also had 10 points.
