CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- — Jaden Campbell had 16 points in Samford's 78-56 victory over Chattanooga on Saturday night.
Campbell was 6 of 12 shooting, including 2 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 4 from the line for the Bulldogs (20-3, 9-1 Southern Conference). A.J. Staton-McCray added 12 points while shooting 4 for 8, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc, and he also had 10 rebounds. Achor Achor was 4 of 9 shooting, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line to finish with 12 points, while adding six rebounds and four blocks.
The Mocs (15-8, 7-3) were led in scoring by Honor Huff, who finished with 16 points and two steals. Chattanooga also got 15 points from Myles Che. In addition, Trey Bonham had 13 points and four assists. The loss snapped the Mocs' five-game winning streak.
