MONROE, La. -- — Nika Metskhvarishvili had 17 points in UL Monroe's 66-59 win against Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday night.
Metskhvarishvili had eight rebounds for the Warhawks (11-15, 6-9 Sun Belt Conference). Jerry Ngopot scored 15 points while going 5 of 9 and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. Tyreese Watson had 13 points and was 3 of 6 shooting and 7 of 9 from the free throw line.
Hosana Kitenge led the way for the Ragin' Cajuns (17-11, 9-6) with 16 points and nine rebounds. Brandon Hardy added 13 points and two steals for Louisiana-Lafayette. In addition, Kobe Julien had 13 points.
