DURHAM, N.H. -- — Sam Alamutu scored 23 points and Vermont beat New Hampshire 68-64 on Tuesday night for its seventh straight win.
Alamutu also added seven rebounds for the Catamounts (25-6, 15-1 America East Conference). TJ Long added 12 points while shooting 3 for 7 (2 for 5 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line and had nine rebounds and three blocks. Jackson Skipper finished with 11 points.
Ahmad Robinson finished with 26 points, four assists and two steals for the Wildcats (15-14, 7-9). New Hampshire also got 23 points and 11 rebounds from Clarence O. Daniels II.
