LAKE CHARLES, La. -- — Shahada Wells had 25 points in McNeese's 91-80 victory over UT Martin on Saturday.
Wells added eight rebounds, six assists, and four steals for the Cowboys (7-2). Christian Shumate scored 22 points and added seven rebounds. Omar Cooper was 3 of 3 shooting and 5 of 5 from the free throw line to finish with 11 points.
The Skyhawks (5-4) were led in scoring by Jacob Crews, who finished with 22 points and nine rebounds. UT Martin also got 17 points and six assists from Justus Jackson. In addition, Jordan Sears finished with nine points.
