Arata Izumi restored Atletico de Kolkata's lead deep into stoppage time to seal a 3-2 win at Kerala Blasters on Tuesday.

Atletico de Kolkata had taken the lead on 29 minutes when Nallappan Mohanraj converted at the far post, but the hosts were able to equalise with a penalty shortly before half-time.

Denzil Franco brought down Kerala playmaker Josu in the box and Antonio German scored from the spot to level the score at 1-1.

Izumi put Atletico back in front with a shot that went in off the post in the 84th minute, but Kerala responded immediately with German scoring his second straight after the restart.

It was Atletico who would claim all three points, though, when Izumi ran onto a Sameegh Doutie pass from the right to score in the 93rd minute.

Atletico rebounded from their home defeat to Northeast United three days earlier to move up to fourth in the table.
