Frankfurt v Leverkusen
Eintracht Frankfurt 1-3 Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen warmed up for a crucial Champions League clash with BATE Borisov in midweek by ending a three-game losing streak with a 3-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Two goals from the in-form Javier Hernandez gave them a cushion, which was sliced in half by a Slobodan Medojevic header right on the stroke of half-time.
Leverkusen's lead never looked in any doubt, though, and Hakan Calhanoglu ensured Frankfurt would not get back into the game when his shot took a deflection on its way past Lukas Hradecky on its way in for Leverkusen's third, with the win lifting Roger Schmidt's men above local rivals Cologne.
