Millwall v Wigan
Ten-man Wigan hold Millwall at The Den
Wigan Athletic stretched their unbeaten run in League One to 13 matches after their 10 men held Millwall to a 0-0 draw at The Den.Millwall had the better of the early exchanges with Jed Wallace's effort from the left wing forcing Jussi Jaaskelainen into action before Byron Webster's header flew narrowly over. The hosts were putting Wigan under pressure and the night was made harder for the Latics after 33 minutes when Sam Morsy received his second yellow card in the space of five minutes after he brought down Lee Gregory. On the stroke of half-time, Millwall had a strong call for a penalty turned down as Gregory was brought down by Craig Morgan. The hosts continued to apply the pressure after the break and should have been ahead after 65 minutes when Gregory's blocked effort fell to Wallace who fired over the open goal.It was all Millwall with Jimmy Abdou forcing Jaaskelainen into action before Joe Martin headed inches wide but they couldn't break down the Wigan defence.
