York City v Stevenage
Danny Galbraith is the hero for York
Super-sub Danny Galbraith's stoppage-time strike earned York a vital 2-1 victory over fellow strugglers Stevenage.On-loan Cambridge midfielder Keith Keane, making only his third appearance for Teddy Sheringham's men, had earlier struck from 30 yards after 78 minutes to cancel out Kenny McEvoy's first-half goal for the visitors.Ex-Spurs winger McEvoy opened the scoring after 15 minutes following a swift counter-attack.Breaking from a Stevenage corner, Luke Summerfield picked out Michael Coulson on the left wing and he then sent McEvoy sprinting clear on goal. He went on to coolly finish past Chris Day from 10 yards. After the break, Coulson had the ball in the net but his effort was ruled out for a foul on Day.Stevenage then levelled when Keane's 30-yard strike eluded home goalkeeper Scott Flinders. But Galbraith condemned the visitors to an eighth game without victory moments after Dave Winfield had cleared an Aaron O'Connor effort off the line.Picking the ball up 40 yards from goal, Galbraith strode to the edge of the penalty box before firing in a low shot off Day's right-hand post.
