McKenzie dismissal costs Montrose
Albion went top of Scottish League Two after a 2-0 win away to Montrose.Their task was made somewhat simpler, however, when Montrose goalkeeper Stuart McKenzie was dismissed after just four minutes, meaning they had to play the remainder of the match with just 10 men.Midfielder Stephen Day was withdrawn as John McCafferty took McKenzie's place between the sticks. It was always going to be an uphill struggle from there, and Albion took advantage of the extra man and found the lead on the half-hour through Ross McNeil's header. The hosts held their own for another 50 minutes, but another goal was inevitable, and it arrived through Mark McGuigan after a long raking pass from Darren Young, to secure the three points.
