BARNES!!!! WHAT A RESPONSE!! Newcastle hit back almost immediately with a STUNNING finish. It's a great pass from Hall to find Barnes down the left. The latter then moves inside and bends a superb shot inside the far post to pull one back for the hosts. What a game! Newcastle 1-2 Bournemouth!

OH MY WORD!! BOURNEMOUTH HAVE ANOTHER!! The visitors double their lead in comical fashion and Newcastle now have a mountain to climb. The move starts with Kluivert's shot from range, which ricochets off the post. The ball then bounces off Hornicek and towards Scott on the left-hand side of the penalty area. Scott looks to tee up Evanilson in the middle, but the ball bounces off Thiaw and somehow loops over Hornicek into the far corner. It's a strange goal, but Bournemouth won't care! Newcastle 0-2 Bournemouth!

Newcastle get forward for the first time in a while as Nico finds Dedic on the right. The latter then crosses into the box, but the ball flies straight into the grateful hands of Petrovic, and Newcastle survive.

Tavernier takes the resulting corner, but Elanga hooks his cross behind for another corner. Once again, Tavernier takes it, but this time he opts to go short to Scott, who then shifts the ball inside to Truffert. He then tries his luck from range, but Willock makes a solid block to snuff out the danger.

Yet again, Newcastle lose possession in their own half as Wissa bounces a ball into Adams. It then falls kindly to Kluivert, who drives forward before trying his luck with a right-footed effort. Fortunately for the Magpies, Botman gets a block in and Bournemouth win a corner, but there are more worrying signs for the hosts.
