TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- — Kintavious Dozier's 23 points helped Grambling defeat Florida A&M 65-52 on Monday night.
Dozier was 9 of 15 shooting, including 3 for 6 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 3 from the line for the Tigers (6-11, 3-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Antwan Barnett scored 13 points while going 4 of 10 from the floor, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and 3 for 6 from the line, and added nine rebounds. Jalen Johnson was 5 of 11 shooting and 2 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points.
Jalen Speer finished with 15 points and four assists for the Rattlers (2-12, 0-3). K'Jei Parker added 10 points and four assists for Florida A&M. In addition, Shannon Grant had eight points. The Rattlers prolonged their losing streak to seven in a row.
