TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- — Javontae Hopkins and Charles Lane Jr. scored 18 points apiece to help Prairie View A&M hold off Florida A&M 61-58 on Monday night.
Hopkins also contributed seven rebounds for the Panthers (10-14, 5-6 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Lane made 7 of 12 shots with two 3-pointers. Brian Myles scored 12.
The Rattlers (4-18, 2-9) were led by Shannon Grant with 15 points, six rebounds and two blocks. Jalen Speer added 13 points and six rebounds. Matthew Webster totaled eight points and 16 rebounds.
