Buchanan leads George Washington over Coppin State 76-45
WASHINGTON -- — Darren Buchanan Jr. scored 14 points as George Washington beat Coppin State 76-45 on Saturday night.
Buchanan also had eight rebounds for the Revolutionaries (8-2). Trey Autry scored 13 points and added eight rebounds. Maximus Edwards shot 5 for 11, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc to finish with 11 points.
Justin Winston led the way for the Eagles (1-10) with 15 points. Greg Spurlock added 11 points, six rebounds and two steals for Coppin State. Ryan Archey also had 10 points.
