Commentary
It’s all over here in California, as Algeria come from behind to beat Jordan 2-1, knocking out the tournament debutants. Despite dominating throughout the first half, Algeria would find themselves trailing, as Tamari cut the ball back for Al Rashdan on the edge of the box, where he found the bottom right corner first time. Jordan would produce an organised defensive display to stop Algeria’s constant pressure, but they were undone midway through the second half. Mahrez’s corner perfectly found the head of substitute Benbouali, and he could guide it into the bottom corner. It was another corner which would be Algeria’s downfall again, with Hadj Moussa’s delivery being flicked on towards Gouiri to poke home inside the six-yard box. Algeria came away with a 1.81xG, higher than Jordan’s 0.65. It was a valiant effort from Jordan, but their fate has now been confirmed as they finish bottom of group J. As for Algeria, the win keeps their hopes of progressing alive, going into their final game against Austria, with both teams on three points. Jordan will end their debut World Cup facing the reigning World champions, who have already finished top of group J. Thanks for joining us. Goodbye!
FULL-TIME: JORDAN 1-2 ALGERIA
Jordan win a throw-in inside Algeria's half, with their players gathering inside the box. It's taken short; however, they can't work it into a dangerous area.
Jordan are having a spell of pressure late on here as they look to try and create one final opportunity, but are struggling to get past Algeria, who are now full of confidence.

Olwan is the final player to make way, with Zraiq coming on to try and salvage something for Jordan.

The final changes are made by Jordan, with the booked Dahab replaced by Obaid.
