Commentary
There's the full-time whistle, as Inter swagger their way to a 3–0 victory over Feyenoord at De Kuip!! Bisseck and Esposito had already given the Nerazzurri a two-goal cushion at the break, and they were soon testing Ernst just 68 seconds after the restart through Spence, who had played a huge hand in both first-half strikes. Less than eight minutes later, Zielinski slammed home the visitors' third, finding the bottom-left corner from Barella's pass, and having scored three times off 0.92 xG, Inter shut up shop. After a well-worked team goal was ruled out when its finisher Esposito strayed offside, Inter withstood Feyenoord's 0.71 xG, keeping chances for Moussa, Valente and Targhalline at arm's length. Despite having much of the ball and almost all the territory after Inter's third, Feyenoord failed to truly test Martinez and make it three defeats from four Champions League games, slipping to 30th in the 36-team table. Back-to-back victories on the continent has certainly put Inter back on track in the league phase, however, and the Nerazzurri move up to 14th with a top-eight spot very much in sight.
FULL-TIME: FEYENOORD 0–3 INTER.
Just 4.9% of the action took place in Feyenoord's own defensive third in the 15 minutes leading up to the 90, but Inter have been more than happy to soak up the pressure at the other end, with this game long since won.
Esposito takes Stankovic's forward ball into his feet and goes down in the box under apparent pressure from Marmol, but the Inter striker is the player penalised for leaning into his man.
We'll play an additional four minutes at De Kuip, with Inter closing in on back-to-back Champions League wins for the first time this season.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has won just two of his 15 Champions League matches, losing 13, but both wins have been at home against Italian teams while in charge of Feyenoord: 2–1 v Napoli in December 2017, and 3–2 v Como earlier this season. The former Netherlands captain has managed the most games without ever keeping a clean sheet in Champions League history, and his unwanted run has been extended since just the eighth minute of this match.
